Drugs, cash and weapons have been seized in Penhill over the weekend. 

Police from the Stratton, Central North and West Neighbourhood Policing Team seized the goods from a car after reports of suspicious activity. 

A quantity of Class A drugs, cash and weapons were located within the vehicle. Forensic enquiries will now be completed.

A post on the Swindon Police Facebook page added: "We'd like to thank the local community for their support and urge residents to contact us via 101 if they notice any suspicious activity."
