Swindon Town season ticket holders will be able to apply for tickets to home games while the town remains in Tier 2.

Any fans who live in Tier 3 will be ineligible for tickets.

Only the Don Rogers and Town End will be open due to the limited capacity and supporters will not be able to pick specific seats but will be asked to give a stand preference.

Season ticket holders who are able and wish to attend matches with the reduced capacity must visit the online ticket website and apply manually.

A post from the club said: "Due to government restrictions and to keep our supporters safe, we are only able to issue tickets to supporters whose registered address is within Tier 1 and Tier 2 locations.

"As such any supporters wishing to apply from Tier 3 locations will be unfortunately unable to enter the ballot until these postcodes are downgraded to Tier 1 or Tier 2."

Each season ticket holder will only be able to apply for one ticket but those who have family tickets, multiple tickets under the same name or applying within their own bubbles can apply for the relevant amount of tickets using the ‘my network’ function on your account and if successful you will be placed into social distanced seating plans.

The deadline to apply for each game is seven days before the match is due to kick off in order to give the club enough time to run the ballot.

The first ballot will close at 1pm on Tuesday December 8 for Fleetwood Town on December 12.

Successful supporters will receive an email with their E-Ticket/QR code which can be printed at home or brought on a mobile device/added to a mobile wallet to use to gain admission to the ground in the normal way.

Any supporter who is successful in the ballot but does not hold an email with the club will be posted a paper ticket for the game.

If a supporter is unable to attend the game then they should contact the ticket office so the ticket can be redistributed.

The unsuccessful season ticket holders will still have access to the home games via the iFollow streaming service.
