IT'S been a year like no other, but at least one thing has stayed the same – a new generation of children have started school.
The Swindon Advertiser normally has the honour of recording this proud moment in its First Days at School supplement.
But Covid restrictions this year meant our photographer was unable to visit the schools in the borough, and instead we have been publishing submitted pictures of reception classes in print in recent weeks.
Scroll down to take a look at the beaming faces in the delightful images we have received so far.
If your school has yet to get involved then it's not too late - simply email your class photos in jpeg format to newsdesk@swindonadvertiser.co.uk for publication in the new year.
