Barchester’s Cepen Lodge care home, in Chippenham, got in the festive spirit over the holidays by hosting an exciting Pantomime for residents.
Staff and residents alike enjoy the home's annual tradition of heading out to the panto, so instead decided to host their very own show when the pandemic made an outing impossible.
Cinderella was chosen for the inaugural Cepen Lodge Panto and it was such a success that the care home now have plans to hold a weekly drama club.
What's more, another Panto is underway for Christmas 2021, and residents will hold a special Summer show as well.
Residents "loved the costumes" and the staff did "amazingly well" during their Panto, explained general manager of the care home, Litiana Kurisqila.
She said: “We’ve had a year like no other so we wanted to really pull out all the stops.
"We’ve all had such fun letting our hair down today, and it is clear that everyone really enjoyed the day.”
