A WARRANT was issued for the arrest of a drug dealer who failed to turn up to court.
Anthony Broadbent, of Milton Road, Swindon, has already admitted supplying heroin and crack cocaine to undercover officers in 2019.
The 33-year-old was due before Swindon Crown Court on Wednesday to be sentenced for the offences.
But he failed to show up, with barrister Don Tait telling the court he had not heard from his client for a number of months.
Judge Jason Taylor QC issued a warrant for Broadbent’s arrest, following an application from prosecutor Robert Harding.
The warrant is not backed for bail, meaning Broadbent will have to be produced before the magistrates if he is picked up by the police.
