AN elderly woman was stretchered out of a home near Warminster by a fire crew on Wednesday.
Paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service requested help from the fire crew at Warminster at 8.27am for assistance to take the woman to hospital.
They were called to a home off Norton Road, Sutton Veny, where they were needed to remove the patient from a property.
The crew assisted ambulance crews by using a vacuum stretcher to carry the pensioner from the first floor to the ground floor.
