A DEALER caught pushing heroin and crack cocaine to a undercover police officers has been jailed for almost five years.

Paul White, 57, was due to stand trial at Swindon Crown Court this week on allegations he supplied the class A drugs to police officers in 2019.

But after he pleaded guilty to seven counts of supplying a class A drug on Monday, Judge Jason Taylor QC sentenced the Bath Road man to four years and nine months’ imprisonment.

White was one of dozens of drug dealers and runners to be snared in a large-scale police operation in 2019 that saw officers pose as addicts and hit Swindon streets in an effort to uncover the scale of drug dealing in the town.

The Old Town man supplied heroin and crack cocaine to officers named in court as Rob, Steve and Paul.
