Child dies in medical emergency as police and ambulance crews called to Gorse Hill
A CHILD has died following a medical emergency in Gorse Hill last night.
A large emergency service presence could be seen in Cricklade Road on Sunday evening, as paramedics were called to a medical emergency inside a property on the street. Police were called at 10.30pm.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “Despite their best efforts, a child was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. This was a non-suspicious death following a medical incident.
“Our thoughts are with the family at this tragic time.”
Police have not confirmed the child’s age or sex.
