WILTSHIRE Air Ambulance’s helicopter was back in the air last night – after three weeks out of action.
A regular service earlier this month identified problems in the aircraft’s main rotor head.
It was grounded for three weeks while mechanics fixed the issue.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance, which operates the life-saving helicopter from its base in Semington, said the aircraft was back flying on Monday night. It was called out once to an emergency in Marlborough.
The charity tweeted an image taken from the air, saying: “It's great to see the aircraft back, ready to serve the people of Wiltshire and surrounding areas, including Bath.”
