Gogglebox is one of the biggest shows on Channel 4 and pulls in millions of viewers each week - but what stars live in London?

The programme first hit our screens back in 2013 - and has since gone from strength to strength, introducing viewers to new families in all corners of the UK.

The show is back for a 17th series.

This means our Friday nights will once again be booming again, as we watch some of the nation’s favourite telly watchers give their verdicts on the latest TV programmes.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Gogglebox cast from London.

Amira and Iqra

The two friends from London first joined the show in series 10 with their friend Amani, however Amira and Iqra now appear as a duo, oh, and the cat.

Amani and Amira are sisters who live in North London and Iqra is a family friend.

Amira is the only one of the three friends who has always appeared on Gogglebox.

She is the main cast member and often has viewers in stitches over her hilarious laugh and reactions.

The Ven family

Viewers quickly became enamoured with mum Mica, boyfriend Marcus and her two daughters Sachelle and Shuggy when they first joined the show in 2018.

The south Londoners joined Gogglebox in series 11 and have become well known for their hilarious comments and outgoing personalities.

When watching notoriously tricky quiz show Only Connect, Mica joked: "This game isn't for the hood, man."

What happened to Brixton stars Sandi Bogle and Sandra Martin?

For the first three series the South London women were fan favourites and always cracking up over a takeaway.

They were eventually torn apart in 2016 when Sandi decided to quit the show, leaving Sandra to continue with her daughter Chanchez.

Sandi has since part in many reality TV shows, including Celebs On The Farm, Celebrity 100 per cent Hotter and Celebrity Fat Fighters.

She even entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017, where she was sixth to be evicted.

The year before, in 2016, she released her debut single "Casanova" on DeeVu Records and also has her own album, Independent Woman.

Once Sandi left, Sandra never quite had the same chemistry on the show with her daughter, with some topics staying off-limits between them.

Sandra's departure, a decision shown on a recording of This Morning in July 2017, shook fans of the show.

After quitting the Channel 4 show, Sandra moved out of her house and into a hotel.

She went on to reveal she had spent all the money she made from Gogglebox.

"All my friends were on benefits, so when I got Gogglebox it was like I’d won the jackpot," said Sandra, who found herself with fewer friends aftewards with people using her for cash.
