Wiltshire Police have revealed what action they will be taking over the 'Banksy' artwork in Old Town.
The site on Eastcott Road is currently being monitored by a security team put in place by the owner, SN Developments, meaning police do not have to do anything further.
The black and white image of a boy holding a sign at the old Stagecoach bus depot is theorised to be a continuation of Banksy's most recent work at a prison in Reading where a man is seen climbing down the wall.
At the moment no confirmation has been made to say it is a legitimate Banksy.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "We are aware of the possible ‘Banksy’ artwork on the side of the former Stagecoach Depot on Eastcott Road, Old Town, Swindon.
"At present the site is being monitored by private security employed by the property owner to keep an eye on the painting.
"At this stage there is no further police involvement."
