SWINDON: William Corley, 56, of Newtown, Trowbridge, admitted driving a Vauxhall Zafira on Queens Drive without a seatbelt and while using his mobile phone. He was banned from driving for six months, fined £242 and must pay £142 in costs and surcharge.
M4: Michael Bowle, 53, of Mowcroft Road, Bristol, was fined £60 after he admitted using a mobile phone while driving a Vauxhall Signum on the motorway last May. He was banned from driving for four months and must pay a £34 victim surcharge.
BROADGREEN: Waseem Gull, 29, of County Road, admitted driving a Ford Mondeo without insurance on May 5 last year and speeding on Queens Drive. He was fined £498, given six points and must pay a £50 victim surcharge.
RAILWAY VILLAGE: Anita Phin, 54, of Taunton Street, was found guilty of assaulting a man by smashing a glass on his head. She was given a 12-month community order with 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
PENHILL: Shannon Paoletta, 26, of Durrington Walk, admitted fencing six bottles of alcohol. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
SWINDON: Steven Knight, 34, of Windrush Road, admitted stalking a woman between January and May 2020 by sending her emails and messages on Instagram and Snapchat and an offence under the Computer Misuse Act. He was given a two-year community order with the building better relationships programme, 100 hours of unpaid work and 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days. A restraining order prevents him from contacting the complainant and going to Chilmark, Wiltshire. He was ordered to pay £180 in costs and surcharge.
M4: Jamie O’Rourke, 33, of Hawkeridge Park, Westbury, was fined £400, banned from driving for 20 months and ordered to pay £125 in costs and surcharge after he pleaded guilty to drink driving a Jaguar on the M4 between junctions 17 and 16 on October 4, 2020.
PARK SOUTH: Thomas Donnellon, 43, of Carstairs Avenue, admitted drug driving a Citroen Berlingo last February and driving it without insurance or a licence. He was fined £1,630, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £163 victim surcharge.
M4: Christopher Bowditch, 38, of Clydach, Tonypandy, was fined £800 and disqualified from driving for six months after he was twice caught speeding on the M4. He must pay an £80 victim surcharge.
KINGSHILL: Reggie Reed, 20, of Kingshill Road, admitted possession of cannabis. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge. The drugs were forfeit.
WESTLEA: Bradley Barber, 21, of Stonehill Green, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and was given a two-year community order with 300 hours of unpaid work. He must pay £2,500 in compensation.
SWINDON: Taylor Croft, 45, of HMP Eastwood Park, was jailed for 26 weeks after she was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman last August. Magistrates imposed the sentence as she was already serving a custodial sentence for robbery and had committed the assault while on licence. Croft had earlier admitted being drunk and disorderly in Spring Gardens. She must register as a sex offender for seven years.
TOWN CENTRE: Christopher Ladbrooke, 32, of Shelley Street, admitted sending an offensive text message. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge. He was given a five year restraining order.
