ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Luke Weatherby, 20, of Horsell Close, admitted drug-driving a Ford Ka last August and possession of cannabis in June. He was fined £440, banned from driving for a year and must pay £85 costs and a £44 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Christopher Bonner, 51, of Station Road, pleaded guilty to burgling a packet of chocolate biscuits from Kidz About in February 2020. A charge of assault by beating was dismissed. His case was sent to the crown court for sentence on April 19.

LIDEN: Connor Jones, 23, of Liden Drive, was found guilty of assaulting a woman. He was given a restraining order and his sentence fixed for April 19 at the magistrates’ court. He was acquitted of using violence to secure entry and criminal damage.

STRATTON: Robert Borley, 31, of St Margarets Close, Calne, was given a 12 month community order with 90 hours of unpaid work after he pleaded guilty to drug-driving a Ford Focus on Oxford Road last June and at Junction 16 of the M4 on August 10 last year.

He was banned from driving for three years and must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

BROADGREEN: Thomas Viney, 23, of County Road, pleaded guilty to drug-driving a Ford Focus on Redpost Drive, possession of cannabis on two occasions, driving on a bald tyre and obstructing a constable.

He was given a 12-month community order with 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days, was fined £450, must pay £180 in costs and surcharge and was banned from driving for three years.

ASHTON KEYNES: Harry Gandolfi-Miller, 22, of Bremhill, admitted driving on the B4696 without due care and attention in November 2019. He was fined £553, given eight points and must pay £165 in costs and surcharge.

M4: Zack Loreland, 27, of Caerleon, Newport, was found guilty in his absence of driving an Audi A4 on the M4 in March 2020 without insurance or a valid licence. He was fined £660, given six points and ordered to pay £176 in costs and surcharge.

MINETY: Faraz Amjad, 19, of Addison Crescent, Oxford, was found guilty in his absence of driving a Mercedes Sprinter on Silver Street, Minety, without insurance or a valid licence. He was fined £660, banned from driving for six months and must pay £110 costs and a £66 victim surcharge.

M4: Matthew Brennan, 40, of Hayes Road, Sully, was fined £550 and given six points for speeding in a BMW 118D on the M4 in June 2020. He must pay £165 in costs and surcharge.

A419: Carol McDermott, 49, of Fazeley, Tamworth, admitted driving a Ford Transit carelessly last May. She was fined £333, given five penalty points and ordered to pay £144 in costs and surcharge.

LIDDINGTON: Mohammed Jahed-Ali, 35, of Beech Avenue, was fined £300 after he admitted speeding on the B4192 in Liddington last June. He was given six points and told to pay £144 in costs and surcharge.

LIDEN: Jennifer Gaunt, 36, of Tryon Close, pleaded guilty to harassment. She was fined £100, given an 18 month community order with 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days and ordered to pay £180 in costs and surcharge. She must abide by a 12-month restraining order banning contact with her victim.

BRINKWORTH: James Shanley, 36, of Gloucester Road, Malmesbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Ford Fiesta in Brinkworth last June. He was banned from the roads for three years, fined £300 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

NEW TOWN: Rachel Evans, 42, of Westmorland Road, pleaded guilty to stealing codeine tablets from Great Western Hospital between February and October 2020. She was fined £100 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

WOODHALL PARK: Sinan Yorukoglu, 54, of Wood Hall Drive, was given a 12-month community order and fined £400 after he admitted drink driving last December. He was banned from driving for three years and must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

RODBOURNE: Ashdeep Dhillon, 38, of Summers Street, was sentenced to 16 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and a half after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman and damaging her bed. He must pay £300 compensation and carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.
