A CHARITY antiques and collectables auction with silver, jewellery, paintings, ceramics and furniture is raising funds for the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice.
Special Auction Services' aim is to raise £21,000 with the event on Wednesday.
All lots have been donated by the company's clients, friends and families.
The auction will be a traditional sale with descriptions, photographs and live internet bidding.
Featured in this auction are a pair of William IV silver forks with an estimated valueof £60 to £80, a small collection of coins worth between £50 and £70, and an art deco bronzed figure of a dog with an estimated value of £30 to £50.
More items generously donated include an Aldermaston Pottery footed bowl worth between £30 and £50, a nice early 20th century glass claret jug and a Meiji period ivory netsuke - both worth between £40 and £60.
There is no buyer's premium so winning bids only pay the hammer price. There is an optional two per cent plus vat premium (to be donated directly to the charity) which can be opted out of.
