THERE have been 13 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Swindon within 24 hours.
In the last seven days, the borough has seen 61 positive Covid-19 test results recorded, which is seven more than the week before - a rise of 13 per cent.
Swindon's infection rate as of April 15 was 20.7 cases per 100,000 population.
The government said that, as of 9am on Tuesday, there had been a further 2,524 lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in the UK.
It brings the total to 4,393,307.
