TOWN CENTRE: Fake Festivals Ltd is applying for the grant of a premises licence for a marquee and secure fenced area in Faringdon Road Park on one Saturday a year. In 2021, that would be July 24.

The Swindon Fake Festival would include live and recorded music between midday and 11pm, the supply of alcohol between midday and 10.45pm, and be open to the public between 11.45am and 11pm.

Fake Festivals Ltd will inform the licensing authority of the date for each year's event.

Applications may be inspected at Swindon Borough Council offices between 9.00am and 4.30pm (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Representations for this application must be made in writing to the address by May 17 2021.

LIDDINGTON: An application has been made to the licensing authority for Swindon for the grant of a premises licence by Montoscar Enterprises Ltd in respect of The Old Village Hall in The Old Rectory on Church Road.

The application seeks the following licensable activities and times: storage of alcohol and preparation, packing and shipping of online orders of an alcoholic beverage.

The full application may be inspected at the Offices of the Licensing Authority, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler West Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Responsible authorities, and/or other persons (e.g. people/businesses living or working within the vicinity), can make representations by May 10 2021.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable on summary conviction to a maximum fine of £5,000.

OGBOURNE ST ANDREW: The Secretary of State gives notice of an order made under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South West) (No.10) Order 2021".

This authorises the stopping up of an irregular shaped western part width of Main Road adjoining the eastern boundary of The Old Cottage at Ogbourne St Andrew in Wiltshire.

This is being done to enable development as permitted by Wiltshire Council under reference 20/07158/FUL.

Copies of the order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, at nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/4536).

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within six weeks of April 22 2021 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the order or of any provision included.

WICHELSTOWE: Notice is given that Swindon Borough Council made prohibition of motor vehicles orders for Mill Lane and Day House Lane under provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

This means motor vehicles are banned from travelling on Mill Lane from a point 25 metres west of its junction with Field Rise for a total length of 100 metres in a westerly direction and Day House Lane between the junctions of Meadow Way and Homington Avenue.
