MELKSHAM: Lascell Horatio Allison has been banned from driving after tests showed he drove with a level of 14 mcg of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood.

The 60-year-old was behind the wheel of his Audi through Queensway in Melksham on August 28 last year while under the influence of the drug. Allison, of Littlejohn Avenue in Melksham, pleaded guilty to drug driving. The magistrates fined him £260 and banned him from driving for a year.

MARLBOROUGH: Shannan Oliver, of Rogers Meadow in Marlborough, has been ordered to pay £100 of compensation after an incident earlier this year. The 21-year-old admitted assaulting PC Jack Hannis in Marlborough by beating him on January 18.

CALNE: Ron Coleman, 77, will appear in court over damage to a gate.

Coleman, of Rear Broads Green near Calne is accused of causing £840 of damage to a woman’s gate in Heddington. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.

CHIPPENHAM: Chloe Racey, of Wood Lane in Chippenham, faces a charge of damaging a police van while in Swindon. She is accused of causing £100-worth of damage to the vehicle on January 20. No plea has yet been listed.

CHIPPENHAM: David Howard, 44, has been fined £120 after he drove while under the influence of alcohol.

On September 2 in Braydon, he drove a Peugeot on the B4696 with 144 mcg of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Howard, of Causeway End in Brinkworth, pleaded guilty.

He was banned from having a driving licence for 17 months.

CHIPPENHAM: Leopold Morgan, 35, will go on trial over a drugs charge.

Morgan, of Edithna Street, pleaded not guilty to having a quantity of diamorphine and a quantity of crack cocaine in his possession on July 1 last year.

CHIPPENHAM: A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Reece Carter, 29,

He is accused of abusive and aggressive texts to a woman on September 29 in Chippenham.

Court papers state that the messages were sent “for the purpose of causing distress and anxiety to the recipient or to any other person to whom you intended that it or its contents or nature should be communicated.” He is accused of assaulting the same woman on the same date by beating her.

Carter, of Unity House in Chippenham, has indicated a plea of guilty.

CRICKLADE: Alistair Shields, of Calcutt Street in Cricklade, has denied an allegation that he assaulted a police officer on June 6 last year by beating him.

COLERNE: James Williams, 24, has been fined after he drove while under the influence of alcohol. Williams, of Grocyn Close in Colerne, admitted that he drove his Ford Transit van on Bath Road, in Colerne, while he had a level of 64mcg of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

He has also been banned from driving for 14 months.

CHIPPENHAM: Lewis George, of Haystack Avenue in Chippenham, has been fined after sending abusive text messages. Courts found that his messages amounted to harassment.

The 28-year-old was fined £200.

TROWBRIDGE: Lee Weston, 34, has been found not guilty over an assault charge. The verdict was given for Mr Weston, of Francis Street, on April 8 at Salisbury Magistrates.

YATTON KEYNELL: Alona Wickham, 51, has been accused of making and distributing incident images of children.

Wickham, of Neeld Close, will appear before the court in Swindon next month.

She faces charges of making indecent images of a child in categories A, B and C.
