A 12-year-old girl was struck by a BMW as she tried to cross a Stratton road earlier this week, police said.
Officers from Wiltshire Police said they wanted to speak to anyone who saw the crash on Ermin Street last Thursday.
The girl was struck at around 3.15pm on May 6, the force said.
On Facebook, Swindon officers wrote: "Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101 quoting log 54210042877."
