MOONRAKERS: The 'no waiting at any time' and 'loading' restrictions on the A4311 Cricklade Road, Beechcroft Road and Whitworth Road will be revised in line with the new junction layout at Moonrakers crossroads.

The 'no waiting at any time' restriction on the south side of Beechcroft Road will be replaced with a controlled crossing and there will be new bus stop clearways where stopping is prohibited except for buses on the east and west side of the A4311 Cricklade Road.

This will be carried out through the Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2021 (Variation No. G)

The council is amending the bus lanes on Cricklade Road, both southbound and northbound, at the location of the Moonrakers Junction.

This is being carried out under the Swindon Borough Council (Bus Lanes, Bus Gates and Bus Only Roads) Order 2019 Amendment Order (No. 1) 2020

WROUGHTON: A new traffic order (reference STR000142) will stop traffic travelling between 24 and 34 Marlborough Road between May 17 and 21.

This order is being introduced to allow the installation of a new water main. Traffic will be diverted via Pipers Way, Swindon Road and Moormead Road.

WANBOROUGH: Highway improvement works (order reference STR000144) will stop pedestrians from proceeding on the public right of way footpath WA8.

The path will be closed between footpath WA7 and The Marsh for a limited time. In addition, footpath WA22 and WA8 will be closed from WA8 to the A419 between May 21 and August 22 2021. to 22 August 2021.

Plus, footpath WA24 to be closed between footpath WA43 and the A419 between the same dates. For these three closures, no alternative route is available.

Footpath WA25 will be closed between footpath WA23 and the A419 for a limited time only. Pedestrians will be diverted via PROW footpath WA23.

OAKHURST: on Oakhurst Way which will close the road between Garsington Drive and Thamesdown Drive.

Traffic to be diverted via Garsingston Drive, Queen Elizabeth Drive and Thamesdown Drive. The work will be carried out on May 12 and 13.

BLUNSDON: A traffic order (reference STR000186) is being introduced to allow carriageway resurfacing on Sams Way between Sutton Park and Churchill Avenue and Sams Lane between Churchill Avenue and High Street.

The work will be carried out between May 10 and 14. Traffic to be diverted via High Street, Ermin Street, B4019, Sams Lane and vice versa. For further information regarding any of the three orders above, contact 01703 463040 quoting the relevant reference.

MARLBOROUGH: Eversfield Organic Ltd is applying for the grant of a premises licence for 109 High Street.

The licence, if granted, is to enable the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 10pm and 8.30am to 5pm on Sundays.

Plus, Eduart Berisha is applying for the variation of a Premises Licence for Aldbourne Post Office, Cafe and Deli at 13 The Square. If granted, the application will allow the sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises. The premises already has a license to retail off premises sales. The intention to make any variation to the premises licence is to sell wines, beer and ale in the restaurant area with food between the cafe opening hours.
