Police were called to Gloucester Street, Malmesbury, at 12.15pm on Tuesday, following a report that a lorry had collided with a building.
The collision damaged the railings outside the property, and caused some masonry damage to the main house.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “Thankfully nobody was injured, but there was damage to the front of the property.
“Our enquiries are ongoing, but we would ask any witnesses who haven’t yet spoken to the police, to call 101, quoting reference 54210044525.”
