STAYCATIONS with friends and family are one of the newest freedoms set to be unlocked next week under England's roadmap out of lockdown.

From Monday, May 17, hotels and other tourist accommodation will be allowed to reopen in England as coronavirus restrictions continue to ease.

This means you'll finally be able to plan an overnight stay with your loved ones, because indoor mixing will be permitted.

However, the 'rule of six' or two households - whichever is greater - still needs to be followed.

Currently, the rules state that people who are staying in self-contained accommodation must not share bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens or entrances to the building with another household in a bid to stop coronavirus spreading.

But, this is set to change in a few days, so now may be the perfect time to book a much-needed getaway.

If you want to stay closer to home and cut out the hours of driving across the country, there are plenty of properties to choose from.

The Journal has taken a look at four Airbnbs in Wiltshire and this is what we've found.
