SWINDON Town have to wait for just one more game to find out their complete list of League Two opponents for next season after the National League play-off semi-finals took place last weekend.

In a thrilling tie on Saturday that need extra-time to settle it, Danny Wright scored twice as Torquay United beat Notts County 4-2 in front of 1,700 at Plainmoor.

Torquay will take on Hartlepool United at Ashton Gate on Sunday, June 20 after Rhys Oates netted the winner in a 1-0 victory over Stockport at Edgley Park the following day.

In the first of the two ties, a goal from Asa Hall and a Dean Moxey penalty, both in extra time, wrapped up the tie for the Gulls after Ruben Rodrigues and Adam Chicksen had twice levelled for the visitors.

Torquay stormed into the lead with just one minute on the clock when a header by Wright from a Joe Lewis cross went in via a deflection off defender Chicksen.

The visitors were level six minutes before the break as Rodrigues headed in from a cross by Dion Kelly-Evans.

Torquay retook the lead three minutes into the second half as Wright slotted home his second at the far post following a cross by Adam Randell.

But the advantage lasted only three minutes when Chicksen fired in off the underside of the bar at a corner.

Both sides had chances to win it in the regulation 90, but extra time was needed to separate them.

And with 11 minutes gone a Jake Andrews corner was headed in by Hall as Torquay led for the third time.

As the first period of extra time drew to a close, Moxey made it 4-2 to the home side from the penalty spot to make sure of a place in the final on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Hartlepool’s Oates struck from distance in the 76th minute to ensure Pools beat a Stockport side that had gone 18 matches unbeaten.

It was a game of few chances, with Oates firing wide and Gavan Holohan heading off target for Pools, while goalkeeper Bradley James denied Stockport midfielder John Rooney.

But it was the Durham-based outfit that triumphed, and they will meet Torquay in the final as the pair try to re-take their place in the English Football League following varying spells away.
