SWINDON police have shared an appeal from colleagues in Gwent following an assault at a rave which people from Swindon may have attended.
A 32-year-old man from Gloucester suffered a puncture wound to his chest while around the Abercarn forestry on Sunday May 30.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found several vehicles and approximately 100 people gathered for what is believed to have been an illegal rave.
Those present at the scene co-operated with police and left the area peacefully.
The injured victim taken to hospital and has since been released.
It’s believed some people who went to the event were from the Swindon and Gloucester areas.
Anyone who can help police find the attacker should call 101 or message the Gwent Police Facebook page.
