A Trowbridge woman who was recently found after being subject to two Wiltshire Police ‘missing person’ appeals faces a court appearance, the Wiltshire Times has discovered.

Michelle Tracy Henley, 38, is facing a charge of assault by beating to which she has pleaded not guilty.

Ms Henley, of Wheat Close, West Ashton, is charged with assaulting a man by beating on March 3 2020. She pleaded not guilty to the charge on February 19 this year.

South East Wiltshire magistrates remanded Ms Henley on unconditional bail to August 9 when she is expected to face trial in Salisbury.

On May 7, Wiltshire Police issued the first of two ‘missing person’ appeals after concerns were raised about Ms Henley's welfare and safety.

She was located safe and well 34 days later but police did not reveal where she was found.

In the two appeals, they said she was believed to be in the company of a man driving a black Audi and could be in the Dorset or Bournemouth area.

They also said Ms Henley had links with Trowbridge and Devizes.
