AS coronavirus restrictions have eased indoor locations have reopened across Swindon.

Despite the wet weather which is expected throughout the week, the town still has a lot to offer those who want to get out the house.

These are top five indoor spots in Swindon according to Tripadvisor.

The Jewel in The Crown - Victoria Road.

"This wonderful restaurant has been a fabulous place to eat for over 25 years. I was surprised to see the decor looks great and the food and service are as excellent as they were when we first went. The friendly staff were great and had a traditional uniform."

"Amazing food and atmosphere Bosco made us feel really welcome will definitely be going back . Had curries all over but this place was the best"

STEAM- Museum of the Great Western Railway

This Is Wiltshire: The Evening Star at the Steam Museum in Swindon

Latest reviews:

"Good and informative museum all about the history of Swindon, steam and the Great Western Railway. Bigger than anticipated with a number of interactive displays and lots of information."

"It was interesting and interactive. Being both fun and informative the only downside was the café being closed meant we had to go out for lunch and then return."

Better Extreme Trampoline Park

"Staffing and organisation absolutely spot on. Covid has made it an even better experience because the trampolines aren’t crowded. I felt totally safe with our little two year old. Shame the foam pits aren’t open but until the Covid does a disappearing act I guess it’s all safe and precautionary."

Swindon Designer Outlet

"Great range of shops with some REAL discounts - plenty of parking - free when we were there but only £1 anyway - all on one level which helps the knees"

"What a great place for your designer shopping trip , parking right outside , loads of areas for rest breaks for coffee and food great place to spend a few hours 5 stars."

Greek Olive - Faringdon Road

"Absolute pleasure visiting Greek Olive. The service truly goes above & beyond - food is quick and the waiters are sublimely attentive. Authentic Greek food, we ordered dishes we had tried in Greece ourselves and it was like stepping back in time. So delicious.
The decor is a little dated but it’s authentic and you can enjoy it for what it is! Deserts on the house and also a shot of what you like to finish. Lastly, we couldn’t believe the price- an absolute bargain."
