Everyone is encouraged to head down to Goodys Bakery in Upper Stratton on Saturday 25 to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support, especially as they're not just hosting a coffee morning, but an all-day event.
Dolly Goodman, 46 from Upper Stratton, started the bakery business with her partner, Ian, in December last year and wants to raise £1,000 with the event being hosted there.
There will be hot food, homemade sausage rolls, a tuck shop and, of course, lots of cake.
Dolly has battled over four separate cancers since the age of 19 and is hosting the event because she is grateful for the support she's received from MacMillan during her multiple cancer battles.
I had a Macmillan Nurse because she was the only person I could talk to, I couldn’t talk to my mum as she was involved, she was lovely and was just so nice, her name was Sarah,
"She was an absolute godsend, normal, knew exactly what was going on. It was nice that there was someone that got it."
