MEMBERS of Swindon Male Voice Choir had their voices stifled by the lockdown but they’re back with their first live performance

Lockdown didn’t just impact their voices as it also prevented them from being able to meet to celebrate the life of long-serving choir member Len Curtis, who died during that time.

They were also unable to pay respects at the funerals of Len, as well as other former members and a founder of the Friends of the Choir who also died.

Now that they are able to rehearse together again, they are staging their first public event – at which they will finally be able to celebrate those they have lost.

A concert will take place on Friday, October 15 at 7.30pm at Bath Road Methodist Church
Proceeds from the concert will be divided between Swindon and District Branch of Parkinson’s and The British Heart Foundation.

Tickets are £10 each and can be obtained from by calling 01793 822495 or via email to swindonmalevoicechoir@msn.com
