POLICE in three Wiltshire towns and the county's Trading Standards are urging people to help identify a man who is cold calling at properties offering to clean out guttering.
On the morning of September 21, the man cold-called at a property in Bradford on Avon offering to clean out the guttering.
A price of £250 was agreed but the man took the money upfront and has not carried out any work.
He is believed to have been using a relatively new grey Ford Galaxy with a female passenger and a baby also onboard.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Trading Standards said: "Melksham Police, Bradford on Avon Police, Trowbridge Police and ourselves would like to identify this male.
"If you have any information which could help, please call 101 quoting Crime Reference Number 54210092668.
"Our advice as always, is not to engage with cold callers. Work is often carried out to a poor standard and frequently overcharged."
