Old Wardour Castle

Old Wardour Castle is located near Salisbury and is the perfect creepy castle to visit this spooky season. 

Visiting the castle is an event in itself as you explore the castle's historic grounds from the Great Hall to its striking East Tower.

Nunney Castle

If you're looking for something free but fun to do this half term, we recommend visiting Nunney Castle

Walk through history by visiting these creepy Somerset ruins. 

You can learn all about its fascinating history since it was built to be a military stronghold by knight John de la Mare.

Old Sarum

A visit to Old Sarum seems very fitting to visit this Halloween season. 

Inspired by Cressida Cowell's bestselling Wizards of Once series, Old Sarum is hosting an adventure trail that is suitable for the entire family.

Come along in fancy dress and uncover the secret ingredients of the witches' spell to discover the location of the cup of second chances.

Farleigh Hungerford Castle 

You have to go to the places ghosts will go if you want to find them. 

And Farleigh Castle seems like a good place to start if you want to go ghost hunting. 

Descend into the creepy crypt but beware of the coffins.

You can explore the towers, the chapel and learn all about the haunting history of the English Civil War.

Spooktacular Halloween at Berekely Castle

Have an audience with King Henry III and listen to gruesome tales from the castle's executioner. 

Meet 'Murderous Mary' and 'Beastly Bad Queen Bess' at the most terrifying Tudor experience at Baerekly Castle.
