More than 200 new Covid cases confirmed in Swindon
More than 200 new Covid cases have been confirmed in Swindon over the past 24 hours.
A total of 220 people tested positive for coronavirus, according to the latest Public Health England figures.
The rate of infection in Swindon now stands at 1,120.8 cases per 100,000 people, higher than the England average of 482.9.
Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 39,962 over the period, to 8,773,674.
