A ROCK concert supporting Help for Heroes comes to the Wyvern Theatre on Sunday at 7.30pm.

A full live band and singers aim to entertain and perform hits from artists such as Queen, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Status Quo, Bryan Adams, Elton John, AC/DC, and Whitesnake.

Collections after the show will be donated to the armed forces charity, which has received £20,000 since Rock for Heroes started touring two years ago.

A Total Productions spokesman said: "There is nobility, an honour and a dignity to any man or woman prepared to lay themselves down so that I and everyone else may go about our daily lives.

"These people are heroes, true heroes, and they fight not because they hate what they face, but because they love what they have left behind.

"Rock for Heroes will continue for as long as we can to make sure that these brave men and women are not forgotten.

"Each performer has someone who has served or is serving in some capacity and it means so much to be able to raise the much needed funds to support these incredible people.”
