VANDALS damaged the council offices in Purton earlier this week.
Staff are appealing for information about the damage which led to some flooding near the Village Hall off Station Road.
A Purton Parish Council spokesman said: “Did you see anyone acting suspiciously around the Council Offices on Monday evening between 6.30pm and 8.30pm?
“The water tap was wrenched from the wall, allowing copious amounts of water to flood the area.
“We also noticed the book swap had books strewn over the area outside
“Any information about this incident would be gratefully received.”
