Actress Milly Zero is best known for portraying Dotty Cotton in long-running BBC soap Eastenders.

Currently scheming with her uncle Rocky to get her hands on cash being safeguarded by Sonia, the character could be in for an explosive few weeks on Albert Square.

But for the actress who portrays her, life couldn’t be more different to life on the square.

Milly joined the cast of Eastenders in 2019 after roles in The Foreigner and CBBC’s All At Sea.

Milly, a former BRIT school student, graduated with A-Levels in English Literature, Dance, Music and Theatre two years before joining Eastenders.

After landing the role, Molly said: "I am honestly so excited to be playing Dotty Cotton and joining the E20 family, especially playing alongside June Brown, who I have been watching on my telly since I was a young girl.

“Her and Dotty have such an interesting relationship to explore with a complicated history, so I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. It all feels very surreal, and I am buzzing already."

Eastenders star has famous BBC rapper boyfriend

Dotty may be unlucky in love on Eastenders but in real life, Milly is dating rapper Ransom FA.

The musician rose to fame on BBC Three’s Rap Game and features heavily on Milly’s Instagram page.

His real name is Efe Ibojie and he won a record contract with Krept and Kronan after beating six other artists on the show.

The fast-rising grime artist was born in Aberdeen before moving to London to focus on his music career.

It was in London where he met Milly and the pair became official when the Eastenders actress went to visit him in Scotland after lockdown was lifted, with Milly sharing a snap captioned: “My love”.

The couple recently visitied Tulleys Shocktober to celebrate Halloween.
