Weather forecast suggests a white Christmas for Swindon
A WHITE Christmas could be on the cards for Swindon as a leading weather forecaster predicts a good chance of snow on the big day.
The Weather Channel expects snow to fall on Saturday December 25, with a 60 per cent chance of the white flakes falling from the sky.
Rain and snow showers are likely to continue throughout Boxing Day and December 27.
Downpours are forecast on Christmas Eve before the mercury drops and the rain changes to snow.
Temperatures will range from zero degrees Celsius to 5C, with winds of around 11mph.
