A SWINDON-BASED indie pop band are releasing their new single next month.

Talk In Code will launch Young Loves Dream on February 11 ahead of their upcoming album The Big Screen which is due to come out in April, with a live show set for Level 3 on April 16.

The '80s-flavoured group describe their latest song as bright and uplifting and being about "youthful hope and possibility before life presents its many twists and turns and we go our separate ways from those we love".

The band is often described as Pet Shop Boys meets The 1975. Last year, they headlined three of Wiltshire's biggest music events - Mfor, Concert At The Kings, and Swindon Shuffle - and hope to continue that momentum in 2022.

They have appeared on the national circuit with Foodies Festivals, sharing billings with Scouting For Girls, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Craig David, SAS Band, 10cc and Lindisfarne.

Having reached 180,000 Spotify streams and been added to over 700 Spotify playlists, Talk In Code have been well-supported by international, national and regional radio including college and independent stations in the USA, Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Wiltshire and Swindon 105.5 and appeared in Q Music, CLOUT, Indie Is Not A Genre, Indie Buddie, The Ocelot, Swindon Link and Devizine.
