A DRUG driver has been banned from the roads for a year after being caught behind the wheel while on cocaine.

Kelly Goddard, of Ferndale Road, pleaded guilty to the charges against her at Swindon Magistrates Court.

The 40-year-old drove a Ford Fiesta along Marlborough Road in Swindon on September 12 2019 while having 22 micrograms of the Class A drug per litre of blood in her system.

As well as losing her driving licence for 12 months, she must pay £35 to fund victim services.

Goddard received no separate penalty for having 741 micrograms of Benzoylecgonine per litre of blood in her system while driving her car along that road on that same date.
