Wildlife rescue centre RSPCA Oak and Furrows has received a boost after experiencing a busy period over Christmas and New Year.
Homeware store Dunelm recently handed over some belated Christmas presents to the Wiltshire wildlife charity kindly donated by staff and shoppers.
The store created a Christmas wish tree where customers and visitors to the St Margarets Retail Park branch could choose to donate an item for charity.
Thankful for the charitable efforts, the grateful centre said on a post on Facebook: “We have received bags of wonderful gifts and essential items for the centre today. Thank you all.”
Earlier this month the centre appealed for more food after running low over the festive period asking for donations of meat flavoured wet dog and cat food and cat/kitten biscuits.
