A VIRTUAL reality journey into Wonderland will be available for shoppers at the Designer Outlet next week.

McArthur Glen is working with Jasmin Vardimon Company to bring an immersive adaptation of Alice in Wonderland to the site.

From April 22, people can book a free 20-minute experience inside the Lewis Carrol favourite.

The experience is located in a specially-designed truck near the centre which uses a VR headset and 3D sound to create a 360-degree multi-sensory adventure featuring the company's performers.

Residents will have ten days to visit before it moves on to other retail destinations around the country.

The project has been made possible with the support of McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, Arts Council England, The Gulbenkian Theatre, Kent County Council and DanceEast.
