PUPILS at Rodbourne Cheney Primary School have the chance to win a Swindon Town season ticket - specially delivered by the club's owner.

Clem Morfuni and CEO Rob Angus visited the school as part of the club’s initiative to connect with the next generation of fans.

The Town pair took questions from youngsters and also gave a golden ticket to the school - one of 40 to be selected for the prize which can be redeemed for a free adult and child season ticket for 2022/23.

This Is Wiltshire:

Town is encouraging schools to use the golden ticket as the main prize to raise funds for their school and hopes the initiative will generate more than £15,000.

Rodbourne Cheney Primary School principal Lisa Davies said: “We were honoured to be visited by Clem and his colleagues at Swindon Town.

“We have a great relationship with the club and have been lucky enough to have had training sessions run at the school by the club, been involved in the Trailblazer Ambassador Programme, and been part of a free ticket scheme.

“We are so grateful for the gift of a golden ticket.

“To share its value, we will be working with our School Council to see how we can use it to raise funds for the school to purchase more play and sports equipment.”
