Swindon's homeless charity Threshold Housing Link is celebrating its 50th anniversary this weekend with a concert in Old Town Gardens.
Threshold will host its "Party in the Park" this Saturday as the charity marks half a century of "compassionate and high quality public service".
The event at the Swindon Bowl will have a "festival feel" with a line-up of exciting acts including Jimmy Moore, The Britpop Boys and The Voice star Phoebe Maddison.
The charity's chief executive Michael Keenan said: “Threshold have been there constantly for the homeless, on the frontline since 1972, providing critical lifesaving and life-changing services to the homeless in Swindon.
"Half a century of service to the vulnerable is a significant milestone for us as a local charity.
"We would have loved to have done ourselves out of a need to exist but unfortunately a demand continues for our range of services.
"Our organisation delivers humanistic, evidenced based and psychologically informed care to provide hope, strong advocacy and a ‘chance to change’ for the better the circumstances faced by those without a home in which to live”.
