HOMES across Wiltshire will not have their recycling and green waste bins collected today due to a staff shortage.
Wiltshire Council has posted on social media to say that the services have not been deployed, affecting properties from Avebury to West Overton, but reassured residents that they will be emptied as soon as possible.
The tweets said: "Unfortunately due to an ongoing staff shortage affecting our contractors, some blue lidded bin recycling and green waste recycling collection services have not been deployed today.

"This affects some properties in Chippenham, Melksham, Calne, Derry Hill, Lacock, Gastard, Lockeridge, West Overton, Avebury, Lyneham, Corsham and Easton. Apologies, but if this affects you please leave your bins out and they'll be emptied ASAP. Thanks for your patience."
