RESIDENTS living in Trowbridge are being royally invited to visit this year’s Holbrook Scarecrow Trail.

The trail is running this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19 around the Holbrook Lane and Wiltshire Drive areas.

Victoria Barton, spokesperson for the organisers, the Holbrook School Association, said: “Hiding around our community you will find 25 wonderful scarecrows linked to this year’s theme - ‘Royalty.’

“Trail packs are now live and available to purchase for just £4 each. Each pack contains everything you need to complete the trail and enter the competition for the chance to win a prize.

“Included within the trail pack is: the main trail clues and answer sheets, a fun Royal Family Tree to complete and the trail map itself which shows all the locations of the scarecrows.”

“We're hoping for a lovely, fun-filled weekend.”

The theme was chosen to help celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, which is taking place this year to commemorate her 70-year reign.

All proceeds will go to raise funds for the Holbrook Primary School.
