A GROUP of dogs has been causing distress in Devizes by attempting to bite members of the public.
Wiltshire Police is trying to speak to the handlers and owners of four dogs.
They were seen near the cricket field close to Drew’s Pond in Devizes.
The two men and one female are aged in their 60’s and have four dogs all of small breeds, one believed to be a West Highland Terrier according to Devizes Police.
The dogs are described as being off their leads and running up to members of public attempting to bite them.
Devizes Police is reminding residents that dog bites can be very serious and cause distress and discomfort to the injured person.
Dogs who are dangerously out of control is an offence and if proven the handlers and owners can face prosecution.
