The Hooper's Field sports pavilion in Wanborough was broken into over the weekend.
Swindon Police are now appealing for any potential witnesses to the alleged crime, which took place on Saturday, September 17.
A specific time has not been given, but sometime during the night, the building was broken into.
Damage was caused to the door and a glass cabinet inside, which was smashed.
Police believe that a number of items were handled inside by the burglars and that a number of drinks were taken.
The sports pavilion is owned and managed by Wanborough Parish Council and is the home to the village's bowls, football, rugby and tennis clubs.
The council is currently in the process of expanding the site.
