NEW photos show the progress being made on the new greyhound racing stadium in Swindon.
After a lengthy pause, construction work on the Blundson venue started again in earlier this month.
It includes the removal of existing stands on the southern side of the track, with a new stand and customer facilities to be built on the northern side.
Drone footage from a member of the public sbows the progress that has been made.
The fencing seen at the bottom of the track in the image was put up in early April, and the metal structure seen to the right of the track is what will be the new stand.
The site is owned by Gaming International and was the home of both greyhound and speedway racing until Swindon Speedway announced last year it was looking for a new home.
Taylor Wimpey has approval to build housing in the area, but only if the stadium build goes ahead.
