Some train journeys from Swindon have been cancelled due to a fault.
GWR has warned passengers that services between Swindon and Swansea via Bristol Parkway, and between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa via Gloucester will be disrupted this morning.
Due to a fault with the signalling system at Gloucester, some lines will be blocked. This issue is is expected to last until around 10.30am.
Train services between Swindon and Swansea via Bristol Parkway and Cardiff Central will be cancelled, delayed or revised.
A GWR spokesman said: "Owing to signalling issues at Gloucester train services between London Paddington and South Wales are subject to considerable disruption and revision as this is on the diversionary route in use whilst work is carried out on the direct route through Severn Tunnel.
"Owing to signalling problems in the Gloucester station area train services between London Paddington/Swindon and Cheltenham Spa are subject to delay / revision."
