A DRIVER who fled the scene of a crash has been tracked down by Wiltshire Police.
The Roads Policing Unit (RPU) were investigating the 'fail-to-stop RTC' on Friday, August 18 when Wiltshire Police's armed response team (ARV) were able to track down the driver to Pure Gyms, where they were detained.
Further checks at the scene uncovered that the driver was behind the wheel without insurance, so Wiltshire Police confirmed that the car had been seized by officers.
A Wiltshire Specialist Operations spokesman said: "Recently involved in a fail to stop RTC, being investigated by RPU.
"This vehicle was stopped by ARV and the driver detained. Being driven without insurance and seized. Enquiries still ongoing regards the RTC."
