An urgent search is underway to find a woman last seen leaving Swindon's Great Western Hospital.

Wiltshire Police have issued a public appeal for help finding Joanna Langhelt, 45, who has since been reported missing.

They have released some images of Joanna that are believed to have been taken at the hospital to aid members of the public who may have seen her and know where she is.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "Joanna was last seen leaving the hospital shortly after 4pm, boarding the 1A bus.

"We hope that these images, although blurred, will help identify her from her clothing.

"She was wearing a black coat, a grey dressing gown hooded top, jeans and below-the-knee boots. She was also carrying a shoulder bag and a carrier bag.

"She is described as white, about 5ft 9in tall with a slim build and long light brown hair."

Police say that any members of the public interacting with Joanna may find her appearing confused, upset or even acting unpredictably.

If anyone sees her or has information that might help the police locate her, they are advised to call 999 and quote log 239 of February 5.
