Billie Piper has split up with her partner after eight years together, reports claim.

The Sun on Sunday’s front page story suggests that the 41-year-old Swindon-born actress has ended the relationship with 38-year-old singer Johnny Lloyd, with whom she raised a daughter.

According to the tabloid, the coronavirus lockdown took a toll on the couple’s bond and so they decided to part ways last year.

A source said: “It’s obviously very sad that the couple have gone their separate ways. But the relationship ran its course and they decided they would be better off apart.

“Like many couples, lockdown was quite tough for them, so they have had time to really think about what they want their future to look like.

“Now they are concentrating on co-parenting their daughter and their separate careers, “[They will] always treasure the time they had together and have many happy memories.

It is believed that Johnny has thrown himself into music again while Billie focuses on her acting.

The Sun on Sunday’s source added: “Everyone is being very mature about it and making the transition as smooth as possible.”

Before dating Johnny, Billier Piper was married to radio DJ Chris Evans from 2001 to 2007, then married Laurence Fox in 2007 and had two sons with the actor-turned-activist before divorcing him in 2016.
