A disqualified driver from Chippenham has been jailed after officers spotted him behind the wheel.
Police arrested 40-year-old Nathan Law, of Westcroft, on September 7, 2023, after they saw him driving a BMW 118I in Avebury.
The defendant had previously been banned from driving, had no valid insurance policy in place, and failed a drugs wipe.
After being charged with drug driving, driving whilst disqualified, and using a vehicle without insurance, he appeared in Oxford Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 4.
There, he pleaded guilty to all three offences and was sentenced to 28 days behind bars and given a five-year driving disqualification.
He must also pay a £154 surcharge to fund victim services.
